OK god damn
Egoraptor, I am writing you a review that involves more than "OMG SO RANDOM/FUNNY LOLOL XD", because that's just what I want to do.
You probably already know this, but your animation ability keeps on improving. You're jokes/humor stay as fresh as they were out the womb, and the jokes within jokes are subtle (DICK CHOMPING). You're a fucking genius. You probably don't get as many intelligible replies as you would like, so I'm basically just letting you know that your mastery of the Flash and the Joke is wonderful, you keep improving, and that the world is a better place with you making people laugh so hard they fall out of their chairs (hospital bills aside). Keep doing what you're doing, and know that you are totally rad.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT
but srsly, that blew my mind
Wait, your story is for real?
Great stuff btw, though the mic quality could have been less "breathy".
And yeah, this is an exaggeration of what went down about three weeks ago, lol.
This is a good PSA
I believe it important that everyone understand not to let narwhals touch your balls.
like I was high.
It was a bad trip man
EVERYTHING: YOU'VE WON IT!
don't give no fuck what nobody says
you win >9000 internet moneys
what. the. fuck.
Here's the deal: The animation looks like the artist has been drawing stills all their life. The animator needs to work on his stuff, and help direct the artist as to what frames would work for a full "movement" in the flash. Maybe the animator and artist are the same person, whatever, the point is, is that I like the art style, but work needs to be put into bringing it to life.
Next, the plot/setting. That was the wtf bit mentioned above. It was all so ridiculous, but it seemed to be taken so seriously. Perhaps this was intentional, but I found myself wanting to laugh at a punchline about how ridiculous it all was, and one a few came. Something that can really bring this through (if comedy was your intent) is the voice actors being just a little bit more silly. Plus, the sound was a little scratchy.
All in all, I found it to be a fun piece that I can tell a lot of hard work went into. I look forward to the second episode.
P.S. was that the grandfather at the end? Because if so, you may have wanted to make it more obvious (I wasn't sure). Unless the point is to make people wonder, in which case, A+
Thanks! And yes, we have been making comics/mangas our entire lives, and the animation world is still fairly new to everyone here at the team, but with each flash our skills get better at both the program and the understanding of cartoon movement with animation. Soon, it will be perfected! And no, the guy at the end is not the grandfather but I'm glad your piecing things together. Episode 2 will shed the light on this character in all of his glory! Thanks for watching, and yes, we did intend for viewers to ponder who this guy is.
creepy. Odd. A little scary. These are all good adjectives for your creatures, and that's a good thing. this was a pretty good showcase for them also. Keep at it!
Alright, here's the deal
This wasn't a life changing Flash for me. BUT, it was funny, and rather original, and I really REALLY want the director/writer of this to keep at it. I think in the future I could be watching a show written by him. Yes this was my first episode in the series, and now I'm off to watch the rest.
Wow, thanks a lot. It is really comments like this that keep me working as hard as I do. I'm really happy you were able to see potential in our work. I really hope you enjoy(ed) the rest of our series and the future shorts we have to come. Thanks again for your review.
